The Bulliard Construction Block & Mason Division recently subcontracted on work for the St. Julien Park in Broussard, La. This showcase masonry project included ticket booths, concession areas, dugouts, a main octagon viewing area, and gate entry structures. Our 50-plus years of combined professional experience were necessary to complete the large variety of structure designs and brick layouts properly and on time.
Architect-designed structures utilized CMU with split-faced and standard-faced CMU highlighted by two 30-foot main entry gates built over steel support columns and covered with high-quality plaster.
St. Julien Park, owned and operated by the City of Broussard, includes a 121-acre tract athletic park and a 50-acre tract linear park. Athletic facilities include two state-of-the-art synthetic Turf-Quad baseball facilities, basketball courts, tennis courts, and soccer fields. The linear park will accommodate countless outdoor activities with a large and small dog park, extensive walking and biking paths, a sculpture garden, playgrounds, decorative water features, and a large event space with a bandstand and pavilions for festivals and other public gatherings.
The Bulliard Construction Block & Mason Division was honored to work on this large-scale project and lend our expertise to an amazing community space.
