Bulliard Construction was the general contractor for Classic Auto Spa, located on the corner of Johnston Street and Camellia Boulevard in Lafayette, La. The latest addition to Mantra Development’s booming car wash business consists of a high-profile, two-story office building with a state-of-the-art, 2,400-square-foot indoor detailing shop.

Bulliard Construction lent its expertise with site work, drill shafts, and the footing and foundation settings for the building cornerstones.

For this high-profile project, Architect Paul Allain designed a complimentary mix of materials to construct this unique carwash. The exterior of the building has a completely insulated metal building panel assembly and incorporates a 3-foot-high brick wainscot, installed by Bulliard Construction’s Block & Mason Division. An applied plaster system was then installed on the metal wall. The front of the building sports an aluminum canopy, bold aluminum sign, and an impressive insulated glass system.

The interior 2,400-square-foot office area is highlighted by a spiral staircase with a glass-ceramic tile wall backdrop and high-quality ceramic floors. Other features include solid core wood stain doors, automatic roller shades, ADA restrooms, and state-of-the-art mechanical and electrical systems. The detail shop is fully heated and cooled with custom floor trenches, a vacuum system, air compressor systems, and other advanced detailing equipment.
